“Together, we empower today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders – that’s a mission we take seriously at Beeville ISD. To continue our mission into the future, our School Board commissioned a community-wide citizens committee to review the long-term needs of our students and teachers. After months of research, they developed a $37.9 million bond plan to bring all young Beeville students into one new modern elementary school outfitted with updated security technology, innovative learning spaces and proven education capabilities that are expected by our community. The goal is to make sure our youngest students have the same academic opportunities as children in other school districts. Please take a moment to review the facts about the bond election in this website then remember to vote in the November 5th election.”

Property tax impact of citizen-developed referendum:

  • Passage of the bond referendum will require a tax increase of approximately $9.30 based on the averaged valued home in Beeville ISD.

  • Homeowners 65 years of age and older will see no tax rate increase now or in the future because of the senior citizen homestead exemption.
